Welcome to the Little Church in the Valley!
We are a small, non-denominational church, located in Stabler, WA just 10 miles north of Carson, WA. Our address is 41 Trout Creek Rd. We hope that you’ll come by soon and worship the Lord with us!
Thoughts on this week’s service 5/4/08
We have communion service on the first Sunday of each month. It’s so special, in a small church, to take communion together. We are reminded of how it must have felt to be with that small group that broke bread with our Lord. Sometimes, it seems a bit strange to look out the windows behind Pastor and see a landscape that doesn’t contain snow. We are blessed daily, but sometimes forget to notice the little things.
I Peter 1:7
That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Thoughts on our service 4/20
We had a nice service, despite the continuing snow. Praise God that it doesn’t seem to stick around for long! We held our congregational meeting after service and the meeting notes are below:

Heath led us in prayer. Teri read the minutes from the previous congregational meeting, which were approved as read. Neva read the treasurer’s report from February and March. We are running a deficit and will need to take a hard look at cutting expenses. We talked about diverting the money we give to the missons to Nadine, when she comes to speak to us this summer. We also talked about how we can support Sara Hopkins as she trains to be a missionary.
Old Business: I read a letter from Ray Johnson into the record. We talked a bit about timber prices. We also discussed replanting the area after the work is done.
New Business: Pastor offered the two donated bicycles in storage to the Pittmans to use. Mary moved and Heath seconded. The motion passed. Pastor talked about fixing the window and the hallway. John’s Boys were planning to move the gravel in the church parking lot on Saturday but had to postpone it due to the snow.
Mary led us in closing prayer.
